Heard from pizza god Tony Gemignani about the incident @PizzaRockLV tonight: “A hood exhaust on the roof seized up and was sending smoke into the kitchen.” Not sure why there wasn’t more anniversary hoopla, but Pizza Rock opened downtown on Oct. 19, 2013.
